I enjoy discovering new music on my travels, I like to listen to the music of the people both past and present. In fact, nothing irritates me more than hearing the same homogenised pop and R&B when I’m in a foreign land. What is interesting is how distant cultures have created music that sounds so alike. Which makes we question if we’re all dialled into a single global consciousness or share an ancestral music past.
