In the last 27 years I have only mised five Notting Hill Carnivals. Every year the Wembley massive meet at my mums house then head down to Carnival, obviously stopping for Rum, Coke and ear plugs. We used to all converge at the junction of West Row and Southern Row before 1pm to ensure we could hold a corner at Goodtimes, to hear Norman Jay.

However on the way to Goodtimes we would join the processions behind the Soca floats. Each year it was clear that there was one tune that ruled carnival, these mixes celebrate them tunes from the carnivals past and present.
